Hallo
Ich habe (oh Wunder, oh Wunder) einige Dateien auf meinem Rechner, die Umlaute im Namen beinhalten. Nur steht da statt dem Umlaut immer nur ein Fragezeichen und am Ende (Invalid Unicode), was, wenn es häufiger auftritt, nicht besonders schick aussieht.
Wie krieg ich das weg? Danke
P.S.: Ein "export Lang=de_DE@euro" in /etc/profile hat nicht geholfen, aber damit will ich euch zeigen, dass ich schon gesucht habe

Hm, hab das mal in /etc/profile geschrieben, einmal source /etc/profile gemacht, Nautilus gestartet, aber hat nichts geändert.

Du könntest auch nautilus aussen vorlassen und erstmal testen, in welcher codierung der dateiname überhaupt vorliegt:

LC_ALL=de_DE.UTF-8 xterm &
LC_ALL=de_DE@euro xterm &
|
und dir in den beiden terminals die datei mit ls angucken.
