Just wondering, since geeks seem to like coffee, what everyone's favourite types are. Me, I'll go for nearly anything. I love this blend from a local shop though, cafe paris. And Vietnamese coffee (Espresso or strong coffee dripped over sweetened condensed milk poured over ice)

There's a coffee shop here in Austin that is all over the Bay Area around San Francisco called Peet's Coffee and Tea. They have, by far, the freshest, most aromatic beans of any shop around here. They never let their brewed coffee sit for more than 30 minutes. It's absolutely fantastic. No flavored coffees, just the freshest stuff.

Screw Starbucks.

I know, Starbucks is pretty generic, but get a nice hot Triple-shot (with two extra shots, 5-shot total) Venti Cafe Mocha and some Irish Creme syrup....OOOOOO THAT's GOOD....And in the afternoon if you want you can get the same thing, but frozen. EXTREMELY refreshing...

I hate coffee. I can't drink coffee. But I'm addicted to caffeine soft drinks, such as Coke, Pepsi, Guaraná and suchlike.

You sure? I just drank some once and I liked it. That was almost two years ago ...

...Then again, heredity might play a big part in it because both of my parents have been drinking coffeee since they were my age :?

Coffe is good once in a while for me, but I'm not an avid drinker myself.

I was going to say that maybe you haven't had really good coffee, but then I saw your location. 8O. Have you ever heard that Frank Sinatra song?

BTW, I like any fresh brewed, fresh ground, dark roast with half and half. Most of the time I drink the 8 o'clock brand coffee beans which I grind and brew at home.

i think you can get raw 8o'clock beans, too, and get a roaster. then you can go from green to yum, all from the comfort of your own home.

i used to drink coffee instead of eating, and instead of water, i preferred cigarettes. it was a wild few decades... and i am paying for it now... *takes sip of green tea, rolls joint*

There is only one coffee to drink, alas. it's quite expensive:
Jamaican Blue Mountain. I still have a couple of pounds that I bought in Jamaica last time I visited...

I dont really like it, but i drink it a lot.

I drink INSTANT. I use 4 table spoons, and just enough water to disolve it, make it in a shot glass.

Puerto Rican espresso is what I have at home. Every now and then I like a a caramel frape from Books a' Million :) . But when I need to rise from the grave, Puerto Rican espresso does it just right.
