I use kopete for chating with msn people and mine uses 100% of my cpu!?!?
Any clue? Maybe other application for chating with msn people?

I usually use Gaim. If you also want file transfer then I would suggest using amsn (Messenger for Linux).

I use Kopete and don't have this problem, but I don't use the MSN plugin. It could be a bug in that. Just for testing purposes, can you try turning off the MSN plugin to see if that's where the problem is?

Now works fine...God knows  maybe it was a bad day for it lol

| I use kopete built from CVS (instructions are on the site), and that bug's been fixed. I vaguely remember it from monitoring the commits. Actually I'm kindof surprised 0.6 isn't out yet, the CVS version is quite different (and better) now - no more annoying expanding metacontacts! Back to a listview. |

I either use it from CVS but in the last time can not compile it cuz some errors...( I use kde1.3_rc5 )
