Yes, that is correct. But I am happy because Gnome has been missing a nice frontend partitioning tool.

Ebuilds are on the way( see also https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61828 )

Please, remember it's in very early stage of development, so dont get your hopes up too high
