I have a couple of ways to get around this, but I don't know how to make them permanent.
Get the settings in aumix to where you like them, then save it. Next time you reboot you can select Load from the menu to restore.
also loads the saved settings, so simply put this into the startup for x or whatever wm/desktop you use to load automatically. then it will happen behind the scenes for you.
Hope this helps. |

The smartest move, would be to do
and learn how to set the volume via the command line, and then put the command on a boot script _________________ Lego my ego, and I'll lego your knowledge
