For some reason, I don't recall this happening until recently, but I could be mistaken.
If I click on a link, and the page is slow to load, I frequently go to another window/term
or something to do work. Now, Galeon brings itself into focus as the front window.
I don't remember this happening until recently. It is possible that it has always done
this and I just now noticed it, but it could be related to this https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=3260
problem. Can this be stopped? |

Why yes, there is . Users of Gnome/Sawfish may change the configuration settings
Sawfish -> Miscellaneous -> Ignore requests from applications to change window stacking. |

Hehe... just thought I'd be funny with my own answer. It didn't even occur to me at first
that it would be in sawfish settings. I found it after reading a thread about using alt-tab
to go through windows. |
