I'm having some trouble emerging gnome-terminal-1.9.6-r1.
This is the error I'm facing.

configure: error: libglade-convert (from libglade 2.0) is needed to build gnome-terminal.

So, what's libglade-convert and where can I find it? |

| Took me a while to figure this one out to. I believe you have the wrong version of python installed so libglade is not creating libglade-convert during compile. Just emerge python then emerge libglade then continue with the emerge gnome and all shoule be well. |

Got the same errot message. This is a fresh install without dev- python yet.
Will I have to do a emerge unmerge libglade then emerge libglade?

first emerge expat than emerge python
and than you can emerge libglade that checks if python has expat support and build libglade-convert |
