I've installed postfix, and changed the configuration files to reflect my system... basically i've changed what needs to be changed, but left pretty much everything else as it is in its default form. It does work (starts successfully and I can send mail - can't receive, but that's my ISP blocking incoming mail) .... except I notice the following in the mail logs. There's a long list of them - every minute a new one gets logged.
Any ideas? (/etc/mail/aliases & /etc/mail/aliases.db both exist - the latter only because I copied aliases to aliases.db thinking the error could have something to do with the missing file. But evidently not).
Dec 5 13:39:27 [postfix/local] fatal: open database /etc/mail/aliases.db: Invalid argument
Dec 5 13:39:28 [postfix/master] warning: process /usr/lib/postfix/local pid 12113 exit status 1
Thanks! |
