hdc: tray open

[tactless]

I was checking out my kernel log to investigate some odd (noncritical) error messages I get at startup, and I noticed that there are 40 or so of these messages:
Dec 5 10:25:46 [kernel] hdc: tray open
hdc seems to be my DVD-ROM drive (is this normal?), and I have only two actual hard drives. However, I'm 100% positive that the tray was closed at that time, and these errors are pretty annoying. Any ideas?
