Hi,
I'm messing around with pacing a folder (with mp3 files from Windows) on my desktop.
I don't use nautilus to draw my desktop cause I hate the mounted icons and Home and Trash so I wonder what else is possible to make a folder on the desktop which is linked to a windows folder? Assuming that partition is always mounted.

hi,
my suggestion would be to make a desktop icon, that starts nautilus (or your favourite file manager) with the windows folder as a parameter.
u could use "idesk" or "mc" or some other programs to place icons on your desktop.
