|
|
I have to install ten servers (dual Xeon 2,5 Ghz (hyperthreading), 4gb ram, scsi uw320 raid 5 (3 disks), but they have a Intel Gbit controller onboard. It requires the module 'e1000', which is included in kernel 2.4.20 (just released)...
Now I want to create a new bootcd (such as the stage1 isos), with kernel 2.4.20 and also those modules on the CD...
How can I make this happen ? |

It's a bit dated, but it probably still aplies for the latest versions:

Disclaimer I don't / haven't used it, cause luckly I can even install gentoo, using a very very old (suse or mandrake boot cd), well I could, never have actually, rofl.
