I get the following error when I run bootstrapp:

Here is some info on my machine and config:

CPU: AMD K6 400

USE="-3dfx -3dnow aalib -acl -afs -alsa -arts -avi -bonobo -canna -cdr -cjk crypt -cups -dga -directfb -doc -dvd -encode -esd -flash -freewnn -gb -ggi -ggz -gnome -gpm -gtk -gtk2 imap java -kde -maildir mbox -mikmod mmx -motif -mozilla -mpeg -mule mysql -nsa ncurses -oggvorbis -opengl -oss pam -pcmcia -pda -pdflib postgres -qt -qtm -quicktime readline samba -scanner -sdl snmp ssl tcpd tcltk -truetype -voodoo3 -X xml xml2 -xmms -xv -zeo"

CHOST="i586-pc-linux-gnu"
CFLAGS="-march=k6 -O3 -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"

Anyone know a solution to this problem?

Two possible causes that I can think of:
1) Using a tarball that won't work on your computer. Since you're starting from stage1, you want to use the stage1-x86 tarball.
2) Hardware problem. 9 times out of 10, internal gcc errors can be linked to that. Compiling gcc is more stressful on hardware than just about anything else you can do on your computer (aside from maybe compiling kde or mozilla).
