|
|
I've got an SB Live Value, and on my previous installation, I just dl'ed the "emu-utils" package from sourceforge, but I used the emu10k1 ebuild this time. But it don't work. I've configured the script as good as I can, but all it does is move the sound to the front left channel. And the only mixer control that works is volume.
I want to use the stock kernel driver, because 2.5.50 can't load modules, it's a bug methinks. I got sound, but I want the 12db boost to front speakers + treble & bass controls.
Anyone, pretty please? _________________ C is for Cookies! |

Well, I know. And that's okay. But I want to control the bass & treble, I've got the emu10k1 built into the kernel, but the "emu-script" just messes everything up. _________________ C is for Cookies! |

tried without the emu-script if it makes any diffrence just throw in everything you need manually and then have a script at boot up that loads bass & treble with the emu-tools |

Nano my man, the problem is that I don't HAVE any Bass/treble controls. But since I got it going with emu-tools from sourceforge the last time, I'm sure a few lines for emu-config is all I need.
To be 100% precise(did I spell that right!?), I need the commands to ENABLE bass, treble & 12dB boost front speaker boost using emu-config. I've got no problems setting my volume from a startup script, if I ever decide to reboot, that is. _________________ C is for Cookies! |
