Hello...
There was a detail in my Gnome desktop when I was running RedHat that isn't present in my current Gentoo Gnome desktop.
I don't know if it was specific to Ximian Gnome (what I was running at the time) or if there is any way to enable the feature.
It was the ability to go from one desktop to another by pressing ALT-F1 to ALT-F6 (eg. ALT-F1 goes to the first desktop, ALT-F2 to the second, just like in the console). I can now press ALT-RightArrow to go to the next desktop, but that's it.
If anybody could give me a hint...
Many thanks, Sena. _________________ sena@smux.net, http://smux.net/ |

I've been there, but didn't find an option to switch to a specific workspace...
But looking with attention, I found out "Activate Workspace", where you may specify the workspace number to activate.
It works, now...
Many thanks... _________________ sena@smux.net, http://smux.net/ |
