|
|
Hi all,
the ximian-connector is currently only available for
x86 and ppc.
Is there a chance to compile the source for sparc from an
other architecture?
Any hints for me?
Thanks in advance,

if you set your arch flags in make.conf to the system you want to compile for, the stuff that gets compiled will be compiled for the other systemt ype .... just copy it off and you're good to go.... i think .... _________________ -Tim Smith |

GenTimJS: er, no.
toweruser: it might work anyway. Lack of sparc keyword just means no-one's ever tested it. I suggest you add an entry for it in /etc/portage/package.keywords, test it, see if it works and if it does, file a bug. |
