remerge 1.0.2 released - now with Red Carpet support!

The remerge project has just released version 1.0.2 of their cross-distro package management frontend. It now interfaces with both Portage and Red Carpet, allowing it to be used on both Gentoo and many RPM-based Linux distributions.

This version of remerge adds one major feature, along with a few small bug fixes and enhancements: the ability to interface not only with Portage, like always, but also with Red Carpet, a mainly RPM-based package manager that works on many of the popular RPM-based Linux distributions, from Fedora to Mandrake to SuSE - even the Debian folk can join in on the fun of remerge (though not using their native apt)! Along with this comes a new configure script, a much more complex makefile, and four new source files to handle the new package manager.
