I seem to have a strange problem. In Gnome 2 when I try to go to "File Types and Programs" dialog it doesn't let me change the program that handles a given file type. The whole part of the dialog is just grayed out even if I login as root. _________________ package JAPH;sub x{$/='$';@1=map{$_=ord;$_--;chr}

I think that is because gnome thinks you don't have any program to handle that.
I once solved the problem by deleting the file type and create it again. _________________ The road to Perfection is too rocky ! Consider Linux as home delivery service. |

I found that editing MIME handlers is not developed in Gnome 2.0.2, I have unmasked and installed 2.1.2 and it works. _________________ package JAPH;sub x{$/='$';@1=map{$_=ord;$_--;chr}
