Hi,...
My Quake doesnt work in fullscreen.
I use 640x480 resolution for quake and 1152x864 for Desktop..
Its only a little 640 Window

You told X to support 640x480, didn't you?
X should switch resolutions when starting q3. At least my box does, except those resolutions that are not in the "modes" section in XF86Config. These are displayed in windows.

doesnt X search from the largest supported resolution to the smallest? I think this true thats why Q3 is going to a 640x840 window reverse the order and see if that helps. It's searching the 16 bit mode first.

I think it searches from left to right...
Running X in DefaultDepth 16 has drastically improved my fps, BTW.

yea I think so too. I know it searches unti it finds a suitable resolution to match the video card. So He4D would have to reverse the order, let us know what happens
