HI..
I install the lastest vmware
My machine is AMD 1g,realtek8139 net card
It hangs when:
NET4:Linux TCP/IP 1.0 for NET4.0
IP Protocols: ICMP, UDP, TCP, IGMP
IP: routing cache hash table of 1024 bucketed, 8kbyte
TCP: Hash tables configured (established 8192 bind 8192)
NET4: Unix domain sockets 1.0/SMP for linux NET4.0
then it stops.. 
no error..nothing
What would cause this happen?

I have the same problem and I saw a supposed fix for it. I'm not sure if it works or not, but try to uninstall smp. It's supposedly for a dual processor machine. I'll post again if it works.
Update: Yep that fixes the problem, but I had a hard time recompiling after removing it for some reason |
