Hi,
I tried to install the java plugin with Mozilla, using a Blackdown-jdk. It doesn't work, and searching on this forum I found that it has to do with different gcc versions. One way to solve it is to build it from sources. Is it also possible to use the sun- or ibm jdk? Or does this give the same (gcc version) troubles?
Thanks in advance,

Unless things have changed in the last few weeks, yes there are problems with their binaries. Just read some more of those links you found and follow the directions for building the Sun sources. |
