should be a file named somthing like:
libjavaplugin_oji.so
somehwere in the IBM Java directory. you need to copy that to:
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins (global)
or plugins in .mozilla in your home directory (local)
no reason not to make it global though that I can think of... |

I don't know why, but i didn't have any /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins directory!
I tried to copy that plugin, and the flash one, but none of them worked. If I do "about:plugins" i tells me there are no installed plugins...

are you sure you have mozilla installed? ...lol j/k...
do you have a .mozilla directory in your home directory? Try putting the plugin files there... |

I read that it's a problem with GCC3.2 compiled Mozilla on a precompiled version of java. You need to:
1) emerge sun-jdk
2) unmerge openmotif
3) emerge sun-j2sdk
4) emerge openmotif (if it was emerged before)
I heard this works, and I'm in the process of trying it... I'm just telling you so you don't go insane thinking it's something you're doing. |

Thanks!!! I was going to try Sun's instead of IBM's VM, because it doesn't work with Phoenix.
PS Mozilla was working fine |
