ok .. so i finished building my new box today .. so now am trying to install gentoo .. but when i boot from cd as i normally can do .. iget an error similar to below

i gave it no attention at first, but then while i was bootstrapping .. th error came up and crashed my install .. anyone familiar with the error .. ?
have striped the machine to see if its a hardware issue, does not seem to help ...
when i take a hd from another box and put it in the problem box, it works fine .. but when booting from cd, no good ..
i even tried to boot from cd using the hd from the other box, same error .. that rules out hd maybe ..
google shows some people stating it may be ram .. well .. i have tried 3 diff types of ram .. ddr, sd-pc100 &133 ..
any input is appreciated .. |

I had something like this with a via c3:
gentoo 1.2: not working
gentoo 1.4: work but I had to trick
I didn't fill use, and flags set to i586... It worked, after bootstrapping I change it back to i686 and it works (maybe not perfectly but it works)
