KDEInit could not lauch Kmail

Hi,

I'm have problems with kde-3.0.3. When I try to starte Kmail I get this message.

"KDEInit could not lauch Kmail"

Now I've looked everywhere for the answer and can't seem to find the problem. Does anyone have any ideas

Hi,

Well, assuming you've emerged kdenetwork ok, you could try:

a) removing ~/.kde (this will removed any customisation you have done).
b) run kmail from a console, see what error occur, if any.
c) emerge an kde 3.1 rc version (good option really, you get lots of good new features).
