Replacing emu-tools with portage drivers

I've used the emu-tools from the sourceforge website up until now, but I have three questions.

1. How can I uninstall them? It doesn't appear to answer to make uninstall.

2. Does the emu10k1 ebuild include these tools? Does it work with the SB Live!?

3. What is this ebuild? Currently I use the driver in lolo-sources. Is this any better?
