Howdy campers,
The package x11-libs/openmotif includes a great application: fontsel. I use it to see what fonts my terminal (I use aterm because of transparancy with a color - great on fluxbox ) can use. Wanna see it yourself? Give it a go like this:
emerge openmotif (if you haven't done that already)
execute `fontsel` in your favorite wm.
In the screen that pops up, click the button 'Options', after that click on the checkbox 'Other fonts', select the font you want to see from the font list, and voila, the name of the font you selected can be used by your terminal as follows:
xterm / aterm / Eterm -fn <font>
Hope it helps for you as well
