licq (1.2) can't do gb2312 encoding?!

Hi there,

In licq, I have the choice of a bunch of encodings including (chinese) big5 and gbk, but no gb2312. When I send messages to people that use gb2312, they can't read it (I tried both big5 and gbk). My question: how do I get gb2312 support in licq

(Btw.: I do have the needed locales and fonts on my system, other programs work fine with gb2312)
