I have a very old dos 6.22 disk with some good games on that I want to still play, and I want to dual-boot it with gentoo. How would I boot the dos partition from grub? Would it still be 'chainloader +1'?, or is it more involved? _________________ 95% of all computer errors occur between chair and keyboard (TM)

I believe the chainloader stuff is only for NT-kernel Windows (i.e win2k, XP etc)
With lilo you can use in /etc/lilo.conf
Code: |
other=/dev/hdb1
label=dos
table=/dev/hdb

Grub's probably easier - can you just point it to the relevant partition and see if it works? |
