Hello,
made my first installation yesterday and wanted to rebuild everything with different CFLAGS. Anyway, I have removed (unmerged) grub and hdparm, but "emerge --update world" seems to want to reinstall them - at least it after typing the first thing that gets build is grub. I just would like the stuff I have reinstalled. Any way to accomplish this ?
P.S.: I do not have any unmerge, though emerge -C does the job. Time for an alias, I guess.

Ok. this one was embarassing: It is of course "emerge unmerge pkg", not "unmerge pkg".
Sorry for that. |
