ik zit met de volgende vragen:

- waar post ik m'n nieuwe ebuild files
- Hoe kan ik ze aan tests laten onderwerpen zodat ze eventueel in de portage tree kunnen worden opgenomen.

Ik heb een Linux Terminal Server Client frontend package dat er heel gelikt uit ziet. Tevens is deze nu beschikbaar met een ebuild die ik zelf heb gebouwd. Ik zou deze graag in de portage tree willen hebben omdat het een heel goed pakketje is om lowcost terminals mee te bouwen in en "helaaaaaas" door windows overheersde terminal server omgeving.

Het leuke van deze Terminal Server Client is trouwens ook dat er support is om VNC connecties over te nemen.

Je kunt ze bijv. posten op deze forums en vragen of mensen ze willen testen, hier bijvoorbeeld.

Kleine aanvulling op de vorige post: gebruik altijd lintool om je ebuild te testen. Lintool zit in het package gentoolkit (emerge gentoolkit), een quote uit de manpage:

DESCRIPTION
Lintool checks if a set of ebuilds conforms to the ebuild
style guide. This is not (yet) an exhaustive test, so your
ebuild might be broken even if lintool thinks it's okay.
