UT2003 full + LiveCD... is it possible?

I have bought the retail version of UT2k3 and am wondering if it is possible to edit the configs on the gentoo LiveCD to play the game... obviously accessing it from the hdd. :?:

I realize that UT2k3 comes with a linux installer but my linux box isnt powerful enough to run the game so I want to run it on my windows box. The LiveCD seems like the ideal solution *in theory*

When you boot the LiveCD, doesn't it bring you to a desktop? I've never tried it, but I imagine that you should be able to browse Linux partitions...
