Hi, I'm getting network related errors during shutdown. How can I capture the same thing that prints to the console during shutdown? It's not in /var/log/everything/current, nor in dmesg output on the next boot. Thanks! Ian

I don't know for sure if it works (i am not working on a linux box right now), but you could try:

shutdown -h now > haltgood 2> haltnotgood
