Does anyone (gerk, i think you wrote this patch) know why the patch doesn't work with Metacity 2.4.2/3? I've tried applying it and compiling, and I get the following strange, cryptic GCC error message (aren't they all like that)?

| Gerk: additional question for you. did you submit a bug report to the gcc people about this, because I was thinking about doing it and wanted to make sure you hadn't done it already. I'm not really sure what happens here, or why it happens, so perhaps since you patched it, you would be able to make a better report, but I'm willing to submit one if you don't have time. |

pleae go ahead and submit a bug report to gcc on this, it has beensubmitted before, but i think it was also overlooked , so submitting again woud be good
Also, nall fixed up the patch to work, so you should be able to install now. |

| Yep, just installed today, works great, however VTE-0.9.2 won't compile ... oh well, one thing ends up working, another breaks. I'm just using the Gnome 2.0.2 terminal until I figure this out. Thanks for your help! |
