I have setup a system for a friend, and he's running KDE for the desktop, but evolution for his mail, and xchat for irc. What's be best way to get rid of the kde app's with the same names/uses since he won't be using those.
Thanks |

well, the thing is they are all included in the kde-base packages, they don't have their own ebuilds. |

What I do usuall is only emerge kdebase, which is pretty much just the desktop, kicker, konq, kdelibs, etc. I think the two you mentioned are part of kdenetwork. _________________ "An empty head is not really empty; it is stuffed with rubbish.
