Sun Sparc Server 1000

Hi there!

I was wondering if it is possible to launch gentoo on a
Sun Sparc Server 1000 machine.

Has anyone succeded?

Due to problems with kernels in the 2.4 and 2.6 series and sun4d processors, we've been unable to do any build testing on SPARC Server 1000s or 2000s. You are welcome to try but I don't imagine you'll get too far if it will even boot.
