I read somewhere that the MPlayer CVS would work better than the stable version so I figured I try and compile it. But when I run ./configure --enable-gui and read the configure.log after it says that the libavcodec library is obselete/broken. I've downloaded the libavcodec CVS and moved it to the correct dir.
Anyone got any thoughts on what is wrong? The MPlayer CVS was 20021031.

ps. Or should I just go with the stable version of MPlayer instead, inputs on this appreciated. |
