I am using the phoenix-bin ebuild in portage. When I have phoenix running and try to run mozilla mail, it gives me this error:
Code: |
The file /usr/lib/phoenix/packages/messenger/messenger.xul cannot be found. Please check the location and try again.
|
and the entire screen fills up with a blank window.
Closing phoenix fixes this. Any ideas? Thanks |

I dont use the mozilla mail but your problem is that phoenix use the variable MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to locate the phoenix installation. Now when you run phoenix it set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to ex: /opt/phoenix. When you try to load mozilla mail it look at the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to open your mozilla mail bu the variable it set to phoenix which do not contain the binary for it.
So What you can try is to unset the variable and start mozilla mail client. Becareful I think when you will start it it will re set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to the path of mozilla (/usr/lib/mozilla).
I never try it before but I think that your problem. |
