hi
i want to create an iso cd (like gentoo 1.2) which will contain a stage 3 tarball optimised for my pc ,the latest portage tree and kernel sources.i have problems to setup my ethernet and this is the only way to build a 1.4 cd.can anybody tell me how to do this?if not i must wait until gentoo reference platdform _________________ Hey.I am new to Linux and i will ask some stupid questions sometimes so please don't get angry with me and help |

I am interested in this too! I would love to be able to make a Bootable CD that has NMAP and a few other utilities.
My company doesn't want to pay the big bucks for a commercial program that is equal to NMAP and if I could create a bootable CDROM I think they might bite.
Nothing to support...Just load the CD on a new PC and run NMAP. Nothing to support if it fails try another PC. |
