Hmmm, this is not a known kde icons problem.
I just emerged gnome and windowmaker and my icons are missed.
I did not run emerge world so is not because of this.
Any idea?

Hmm, I may have got the package name wrong - if it is not gdx-pixbuf it is something very similar. If you do a search of the gentoo-user mailing list around February or March for threads with missing gnome icons, you should find the correct package name. I am at work and can't check out my machine at the moment. I am not sure that this will fix your problem, however it seemed to be a common thing a couple of months ago with people missing icons in Gnome. |

Ok, I just checked it out myself - the package name is gdk-pixbuf - sorry for the bum steer. |
