mozilla and antialiasing

Hello,

I installed Mozilla 1.0 RC2 from the portage ebuild, and seemingly freetype support is compiled in, but it doesn't recognize the fonts as truetype.

When I start Mozilla with NS_FONT_DEBUG=300 environment set it says:

Notice the GetFontNames failed

I have edited /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref/unix.js to contain the right font path (/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/truetype instead of /usr/share/fonts/TrueType).

With NS_FONT_DEBUG=400 set it says:

No error here, but no AA either.

I tried to compile both RC1 and RC2 with mozilla-1.0-*-xft.patch enabled but it fails to compile in nsFontMetricsGTK.cpp.

Does anybody have a similar problem?
