let's keep pushing $ in drobbins' direction, folks. I just sent another one in, and I hope to drop in more $ every couple of weeks, esp when more large shirts are available. Yanno, I'd buy multiple copies of every gentoo-designed garment anyone could put up there: tshirt, sweatshirt, etc. There are got lots of cool gentoo designs.
and for the current gentoo maintainers: you guys rock, too. thanks to all -- wylbur. |

Just received my package with my CD and my t-shirt.
The shirt really rawks, I can recommend it to everyone, even not into Linux or Gentoo at all _________________ Pentium 4 Prescott 3,2 GHz

For anyone that's keeping count, you can add another $40 to the pot.
By the way, this thread was just slashdotted. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |

I'm sad to see drobbins go
Never knew him personally but he wrote some of the best Linux articles I've ever read (besides of course just creating the best Linux distro).
Just ordered my t-shirt.

just saw the news on /. about the debt. Since it looks like somebody's keeping count, this poor college student just donated $10. First (real) Linux distro I've used and I couldn't imagine anything better. And yes, the community is the best. Thanks for the gift of Gentoo Daniel and hope we can help to show our appreciation. |

I've been using Gentoo for about 6 months now and I love it. I saw the story on slashdot and I donated $20 (all I can afford right now!) |

I went ahead and gave $10 for now. I'll definitely purchase a t-shirt when they come back in stock (my Cafepress is getting a bit worn out).
Good luck, drobbins! |

I've been a happy user for the last few months after years (and years and years) of Debian. Great distro - love the install. No seriously, it's clean and doesn't treat you like a moron. I've taught people to use linux using just the gentoo install as a working lesson. So I've kicked in $20 for Daniel's fund. Good work Daniel, you will be missed. |

I donated a while back, however I am still waiting for that nifty coffee mug he has pictured on the web site. I may get a bunch as they look like a nice gifts for my caffeine addicted friends and coworkers. Hurry, my "coffee" pot runneth over...

I've tossed in $10 too. Don't need a T-shirt, or cd's but I am ready for some stickers and mugs! Thank you Daniel! _________________ Life is a tragedy for those who feel; and a comedy for those who think.

Although I don't post on the forums very often:
- I'm using Gentoo on 2 servers at work.
- One of them is being used by 40 people.
- Portage is a "maintenance dream".
On the behalf of me and my colleagues, 20$ for Daniel... |
