I tried to execute the passwd command and got this error:
Code: |
passwd: error while loading shared libraries: libcrack.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
|
I tried it both in the directory I was in and then changing to /#
I was getting SO close to the end too lol.

Happened to me too. You probably don't need to, but emerge cracklib again, and then symlink /usr/lib/libcrack.so.2.7 to /usr/lib/libcrack.so.2 |

Thanks a bunch.
That took care of it. Tried setting the link before I emerged and it worked...so didnt bother with the emerge.
