tail a log with aterm like root-tail does

hi, is there a way to make aterm behave like root-tail? f.eg. start it without borders, without menu-bar, transparent in the bottom right corner of the screen, tailing /var/log/kern.log?

i'm using paralogger at the moment, which requires eterm :(
