hl/cs - connectingissues

I installed hl/cs and it works decent, the only thing i don't like is that it takes forever to connect to a gameserver. Like > 3 minutes at least. Is there anything I can do to speed things up?

I use XQF to find servers to connect to. It works much faster than the internal HL browser.
