Skompilowałem sobie Xorg i KDE 3.2.2 (arts, kdelibs, kdebase). Plik konfiguracyjny Xorg'a zrobiłem. No i wywala mi errory (EE=No device found. A przecież w pliku konfiguracyjnym (xorgconfig) wpisałem 'nv').Drugi problem to nie widzi mojej sieciówki, na innych distrach ją normalnie widzi. Jak wpisuje : /sbin/ifconfig to wywala : ifconfig unknown command, chyba (normalna Erthnet(czy jak to sie pisze :) )). Postanowiłem skompilować jeszcze raz jajko 2.6.4.
Po kompilacji nadal nie widzi sieciówki, i wogóle nie działa 'xorgconfig' i 'startx' :)

Aha mam Gentoo 2004.1 :)

Ps. Jeżeli ten temat był, to prosze o link do niego :)

Ps.2 Prosze o szybkie odpowiedzi.

ifconfig to program konfiguracujny, którego nie masz zainstalowanego.
Połączenie można skonfigurować ręcznie, a sterownik dodaje się do karmelka.

Wszystko jest w podręczniku na www.gentoo.org

To wiem, że to program, ale gdy wpisuje

route add -net 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.248 eth0

to wywala mi

SIODCADDRT : No such device (czy jak to)

Skompilowałem kernela ze sterami, a w podręczniku gentoo nic nie znalazłem.

Przeczytaj jeszcze raz uważnie ten podręcznik. Dowiesz się z niego, że podana komenda służy do odpalenia neta na GentooLiveCD. W zainstalowanym systemie zadziała ona ewentulanie jedynie do restartu.

W samym Gentoo musisz mieć odpowiednie STERY W JAJKU i odpowiedni CONFIG

IMHO niemożliwoœć znalezienia programów, które *powinny* być, to problem ze zmiennš $PATH. Spróbuj /sbin/ifconfig na poczštek. Jeœli zadziała, a samo ifconfig nie, to masz skopane $PATH.

Po drugie, w Twoim konfigu nie widzę nigdzie wpisu z "nv"...

Z siecia sobie dalem rady, i z Xorg'iem tez.

Trzeba bylo wpisac, #emerge nvidia-kernel i juz uruchomily sie x'y. Tylko wnerwia mnie jedna rzecz. W Xorg'u mam taki zielony pasek, zamiast paska tytulowego. No i to mnie strasznie draznii. Czy mozna to jakos usunac ?
