|

I'd like to use the RANDR extension to allow me to use my monitor in portrait mode. Unfortunately, it seems this extension doesn't get built by default.
Before I start digging through X source, has anyone got this working? Everything I find on the web seems very theoretical on the subject.... |

After reading the slashdot article... it would be sensible to wait till it gets bundle in X4.3..

As far as the RAndR extensions are concerned, what implication does the inclusion of this into XFree mean for users of for example NVidia's binary driver? Will the benefits of this extension be immediately available, or will we have to wait for support to be added by NVidia? _________________ "There are 10 types of people: those that understand binary and those who dont." |
