It seems when I start Eterm it isn't reading form the .bashrc or whatever because I just get a sh-2.05a $ instead of the normal thing I get in the virtual console. Anyway to fix this? _________________ "And I'm right. I'm always right, but in this case I'm just a bit more right than I usually am." - Linus Torvalds |

Are you sure that /bin/bash is your login shell? _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

nevermind found it. It is set to nothing. I do SHELL=/bin/bash and export SHELL but then it still won't keep the variable... _________________ "And I'm right. I'm always right, but in this case I'm just a bit more right than I usually am." - Linus Torvalds |

Do chsh -s /bin/bash username as root, and relogin with username.
