|
|
My /usr is set up as a separate ReiserFS partition. Now when the system boots this partition is not mounted correctly, with dire consequences.
The relevant bit of my my fstab looks like this:
/dev/hda3 / reiserfs noatime 0 0
/dev/hda4 /usr reiserfs noatime 0 0
Note that / mounts OK and I can manually mount /dev/hda4 on /usr without any problems.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. |

Is it possible that word wrap affected the /usr line? _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I had the exact same problem. I deleted the line and then recreated it and believe it or not it now works. I can't explain it. Maybe there was a problem with line wrap but I'm usually very careful about such things. Anyway, give it a go.
Good luck. |

Thanks for your help, folks.
Deleting and replacing the line seems to have solved the problem |
