|
|
Hi,
I just downloaded Stage1 , burned it into CD. Manage to boot into prompt. Modprobe my NIC using 'tulip'. So far so good. I am using a ADSL connection, at Debian I use pppoe to connect to internet. But I can not find pppoe in the Gentoo Stage1 package.
I have tried "dhcpd eth0", no response.... It will timeout after sometime. My NIC (eth0) is connected to the ADSL modem. What are the steps to activate my internet connection? FYI I have browse gentoo forum, I have tried google. But I can not find any clue.
thank you |

You pretty much got ignored because this question has been asked a million times before. Search the forums more next time. Refer to my post on how to install your PPPoE. https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=16381 |

hanoman's second question, being completely unrelated to the topic, has broken free to The whole screen is GRUB. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
