Can't access tty. I NEED HELP

During boot sequence, My Gentoo disk reads off the CD-Drive. Suddenly, an error open that says...
Can't access tty.

Does anyone knows about this problem and how to fix it?

Let me be sure that I understand you.

I am assuming you are using a boot CD. Is it the Gentoo Install disk? Or a boot disk you made yourself? Did it work in the past? If you are using one of the Gentoo install disks, which one?

Any other information that you think might be relevant would be appreciated.
