Hi guys,
does anyone know where to activate the MII: Interface Library
in the kernel config? thats the only thing why i can't emerge
anything because of the missing internet connection via adsl.
for this connection i need this mii module but where to activate
it?! i use a realtek rtl 8139 ethernet card. the module 8139too
can be loaded but it misses the mii module.
best regards,

First of all, hello everybody... Im a new gentoo user (or almost!) and this is my first time at the forums...
Could any of you guys answer this one, please...
I'm having the same problem and can't find a way to insert mii as a module into the kernel...
Thanks! _________________ S@!NT

snif! snif! Don't know what to do anymore... I tried insrting 8139 directly into the kernell.... didn't work. tried compiling mii by hand... could't. Tried to load mii.o, but modprobe complains about the kernel version...
I'm clueless... _________________ S@!NT
